Mel Parker Books just sold Oklahoma City Mayor, and President of the U.S. Conference of Mayors, Mick Cornett’s narrative nonfiction account of the revival of Oklahoma City, along with stories, insights and anecdotes from other cities around the country that speak to the creativity, vitality and rebirth of Middle America and mid-size cities everywhere, to Putnam, at auction.

Mel Parker Books also sold The Loyalist Team: The Truth About Teams and How to Make Yours Great by Linda Adams, Abby Curnow-Chavez, Audrey Epstein and Rebecca Teasdale, partners in an all-female business consulting firm working with some of America’s largest companies, written with Jody Berger, who provide a new model for team-building, to Public Affairs/Perseus, to be published in 2017.

Coming in Summer 2016 to Harper Perennial, Jennifer Grayson’s Unlatched, an examination of the breastfeeding controversy, telling the story of how history, politics, culture and big business have influenced the feeding of our young, and exploring the profound implications for our health, our connection to the natural world, and the future of our children.
